Steve Dawson to kanadyjski gitarzysta, piosenkarz i producent muzyczny. Dawson wyprodukował albumy Jima Byrnesa , Kelly Joe Phelps , Old Man Luedecke , The Sojourners i The Deep Dark Woods . Zdobył dwie nagrody Juno . Często współpracuje z klawiszowcem Chrisem Gestrinem, basistą Keithem Lowe i perkusistą Georrem Hicksem. Kariera
W 2001 roku Dawson wraz z Jessem Zubotem, Kevinem Turcottem i Andrew Downingiem wydali album Great Uncles of the Revolution Stand Up! . Album zdobył Western Music Award. W 2002 roku The Great Uncles of the Revolution wystąpili na Montreal Jazz Festival i otrzymali Grand Prix de Jazz de Montreal.
Dwukrotnie zdobył również nagrodę Independent Canadian Music Award za album roku Roots, w 2000 i 2002 roku.
