Wysoki Szeryf Radnorshire

Historia

Urząd Wysokiego Szeryfa ma ponad 1000 lat i został ustanowiony przed podbojem normańskim . Urząd Wysokiego Szeryfa miał pierwszeństwo w hrabstwach aż do panowania Edwarda VII , kiedy to Zakon Rady w 1908 r. Nadał Lordowi -porucznikowi główny urząd pod Koroną jako osobisty przedstawiciel Suwerena. Urząd Wysokiego Szeryfa Radnorshire ustał wraz z reorganizacją samorządu lokalnego w 1974 r., Kiedy został połączony z Wysokimi Szeryfami Brecknockshire i Montgomeryshire jako Wysoki Szeryf Powys .
