Lacy Ryan (ok. 1694–1760), angielski aktor, pojawił się w Haymarket Theatre około 1709 roku.

Życie

W 1718 roku dołączył do firmy w Lincoln's Inn Fields , gdzie dzielił przewodnictwo ze swoim przyjacielem Jamesem Quinem . Brał główne role w Ryszardzie III i Hamlecie z Anną Marią Seymour . W 1719 roku pojawił się w komedii Johna Leigh Kensington Gardens .

W 1732 roku udał się za kompanią do Covent Garden i tam pozostał aż do śmierci. Iago , Cassius, Edgar (w Królu Learze ) i Macduff byli jednymi z jego najlepszych ról. Kolejną popisową rolą była tytułowa rola w tragedii Nathaniela Lee Teodozjusz .
