Agnieszka Mellon
Agnès Mellon (ur. 17 stycznia 1958) to francuska sopranistka specjalizująca się w muzyce barokowej .
Biografia
Agnès Mellon rozpoczęła swoją karierę w 1981 roku z barokowym zespołem Les Arts Florissants , kierowanym przez Williama Christie , z którym w latach 1981-1993 interpretowała Marc-Antoine Charpentier , Monteverdi , Luigi Rossi , Michel Lambert , Henry Purcell , Jean-Baptiste Lully , Michel Pignolet de Montéclair , Jean-Philippe Rameau i inni. W latach 80. była jedną z stałych wokalistek zespołu, obok Guillemette Laurens , Jill Feldman , Dominique Visse , Étienne Lestringant , Michel Laplénie , Philippe Cantor , Gregory Reinhart i François Fauché .
Począwszy od 1985 roku, Mellon pracował również pod kierunkiem Philippe'a Herreweghe z La Chapelle Royale (1985-1990) i Collegium Vocale Gent (1990-1996), interpretując Charpentiera, Heinricha Schütza , Monteverdiego, Jeana Gillesa i Johanna Sebastiana Bacha .
Pod koniec lat 80. regularnie współpracowała z belgijskim zespołem Ricercar Consort , pod kierownictwem artystycznym belgijskiego muzykologa Jérôme'a Lejeune . Pracowała także z różnymi dyrygentami, w tym Dominique Visse , René Jacobs , Marc Minkowski , John Eliot Gardiner , Christophe Rousset i Gérard Lesne .
Od lat 90. poświęciła się pracy pedagogicznej. Uczestniczy również w kursach mistrzowskich w ( Paryżu , Montrealu i Kioto ). W 1992 roku dała wyjątkową interpretację Henry'ego Purcella , tradycyjnie wykonywaną tylko przez kontratenorów , takich jak Alfred Deller i James Bowman . W 1997 roku założyła własny barokowy zespół Barcarole, którego pierwsze nagranie ukazało się w 2005 roku.
